Jeep reps explained to Autoblog that the main reasons they named the JT as the Gladiator and not the Scrambler is due to the 2005 Jeep Pickup Concept already bearing the Gladiator name, but also because of historical significance – the Scrambler was not a full-on truck, unlike the JT Gladiator.
