Man, I bought mine in December and returned them moths ago. Shocked this is still ongoing.

Been another 5+ weeks since the last update. I'm guessing still no ETA?

Anything to share on the testing?

Yep, got my first set in December too. We've(Oracle and myself) sent a few lights back and forth and right now I'm sitting with the heating element fried on both. I'm a patient person but the "fix is close but no ETA to offer" was inexcusable long ago

Hello,
These are in production but no ETA on the actual ship date. I understand that is not the ideal answer. There are many production and shipping delays that are against us but we are working to get these completed as quickly as possible.

If anyone is unhappy with this wait time we are happy to provide alternative options for you. Please reach out to us directly.

Thank you and have a great week!

I just received a shipping notice for my replacement set of these.

@ORACLElights - I'm assuming that means the redesigned lights are complete. Are you able to confirm and possibly talk a little more technically regarding what changes were made to prevent the burn-in in the new version?

I just got the same notification, happy to see them shipping before the snow flies.

Yes, these are now shipping again!

We made significant upgrades to the heating element and internal temperature sensor. We also added an additional external temperature sensor. These sensors work together to power the heating element on/off automatically when the ambient temperature goes above & below freezing.

Yikes. Seeing this thread is not fun. I have one of the first pairs, but can't check on them until my truck is back from the body shop after being hit 2.5 months ago.

Any recommendation on where to mount the external temp sensor? I stuck mine just outside of the engine bay, but curious if there is a recommendation.

The most ideal spot functionally would be somewhere on the grill. But we understand some of you are going to want to hide that & won't want it visible.

Ideally, you want these to be in a spot where there is the least amount of engine heat. The spot you chose is a great place!

Still have the burnt-element ones in my Jeep and haven't heard anything from Oracle directly. Just sent an email, so we will see. ?‍♂

Thanks!
On a side note, the power lead for the halo’s/heater was labeled as “Turn Signal” for some reason. Thought I would pass that along since it is clearly wrong and may cause a headache for tech support ?.
