The original TSB is attached which provides a bit more insight of the repair.

YES. The truck must be flashed after the install. Unless you have the ability to download the new code and flash things, no tazer or jscan is going to do it.

30k miles on my Sport S oem aluminum steering box. Not a single issue. one finger steering at 75 mph.

It's going to require dealer involvement. It's not a matter of changing settings or selections in the BCM, etc.

30 days now lead time. This sucks. Anyway it can be faster? I’m at 40k miles and my trusted mechanic said mine is shot causing death wobble at highway speeds. Trying to go to the beach mid July

Good news. Only took one week even though website says 30 day lead time. Only thing that’s rough is the packaging. Looks ok though. I guess cause this sucker is heavy. Hopefully this fixes my death wobble steering issues. The bolts were so loose last week on the aluminum box
