Just to close the loop: for the universal prerunner lights from Oracle, with LED vehicles, can’t tap into the light harness if you want them on with ignition, I.e. not just with DRL OR headlights, but all the time.

Have to do a fuse tap to cig lighter. Looks good and would have been a 15min job had I not tried to tap the light harness like the 500 install videos show…

I, for one, am *totally inept when it comes to wiring. How did you tap both black and red wires from the pre-runner lights into the fuse tap adapter?

Fret not. I am not a lover of wiring and electrical, but this is nothing. Ground/black can go anywhere. Put it on the black/neg battery terminal or the factory “ground post” they give you on the passenger side as I did. I put a ring on that and it’s on that post.

The fuse tap is only for the red/hot. It has a pig tail and you crimp it to the red/hot from the lights. There is a right and wrong way to orient the fuses in the fuse tap and I watched 5 YouTube videos. The best way I found was pull one of the fuses in the fuse tap and basically see which corresponds to the newly added lights, fuse out - lights won’t go on. I can take a picture and try and confirm even which is which. The other thing is apparently for this application it doesn’t matter that much since this is such low power stuff.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Very much appreciated and please if you can take a picture, that'll help even more. No rush as I just ordered the fuse tap today so I'm not expecting it until Friday. Unfortunately, I already tapped into the brown and white wire so I have to also figure out a way to seal it to prevent any future damage. Again, totally inept to wiring but this helps.
