Just installed some 38s on my JT diesel running the stock rubicon wheel with the Mopar lift. Front tires are rubbing the trackbar on hard turns. What would be the best offset to fix this without sticking out to wide?

Lots of wheel information out there using the search function, but for the sake of this thread check out AEV wheels. They, in my opinion, have just the right amount of offset at +25. I believe method wheels also makes a few variants with that offset as well. It'll brings your wheels slightly further out (stock is +44) but not poke out much past the fender.

Also, if you get offroad I'm curious how badly those are going to rub at full flex. Be sure to post up results

You could also try spacing out the steering stop bolts with a washer. You lose a little turning radius, but my get you by and let you evaluate your options.

+1 on the curiosity with regards to rub while flexing.

I was looking at the AEV and some of the other Mopar options.

I agree... at this point in my life, my wheelin' is very mellow, back country roads. No knarl.

Maybe, adding the AEV spacer lift with the Mopar kit will be the right option.

Going through this on mine right now. Stock rubicon wheels and 38s with 1 1/4" wheel spacers, two washers under steering stop each side. Getting slightest rub on clayton arms. I just got my aev jk borha wheels which as the best I can tell should get me really close to the same back spacing as the factory rubicon wheel with the 1 1/4 spacers.

Keep me updated on how the new wheels work

I have the same stock wheels with 35x12.50 ridge grapplers and had to run spacers. I'm upgrading to a Clayton 3.5' Overland Plus kit and bought a set of older AEV borah wheels that were for JKs with the +4mm offset. I've seen videos with those wheels running same 37" tire specs and you won't rub on turn or flexing. The new AEV wheels are made exclusively for JLs and JT with a +25mm offset.

What about the after market Mopar wheels?
