Yesterday I tried to wash the windshield by pulling on the lever. No fluid I originally thought, but I did notice spray coming from the front of vehicle. I though maybe there are headlight washers and the windshield washer nozzle are clogged.

On a whim I tried the trail cam washer an the windshield washers sprayed.

I tried several times and they are reversed. I don’t remember using the winshywashers but I know I tried the trail cam washer screen button before and it worked fine.

It’s a 2020 Rubicon with 2000 miles that I bought new a few months ago.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Try it again after the next restart. It appears to have worked normally at one time. Maybe it just needs a system reboot (disconnect both batteries for about ten minutes).

What was the outcome of this? Weird for a factory trailcam truck to do this.

They reversed the hoses I guess, but I know it wasn’t like that before.
It’s an AMW 392 so there is always the possibility of a computer glitch although I have not heard of that happening before.

I had no idea the trail cam had a washer. Does the rear camera have one as well?

But many of us WISH it did.
Do it! I know one guy did, he rigged something up. The washer pump is up for it, same one as the Wrangler which fires both washers at once. ( rear window and trailcam )

There's at least one write-up in these forums about a guy who did it. I keep thinking about doing it, never have. Especially nice in the winter when it gets covered with crud you can't see through after driving less than half a mile.
I'd want to rig it like my car was before I disabled the rear wiper to put louvers on it - a button specifically for the rear, dedicated pump, so it only washed the rear cam, nothing else.
