I've been on a forum binge for what seems like days now looking for the right way to mount 35's on my Jeep Gladiator Overland and still not sure how to make it happen, what exactly do I need and if I need to re-gear my dream is to have 37's but not sure how that is even possible without dropping 10K. Any pictures with options on how to have 35s on my ride of someone that has already done it and any tips. Thanks!!!

I have 35s on a Mojave so have no Overland experience. But the process should be straightforward. You basically have 3 options:

1. Add a 1.5" 'budget boost' lift for about $100 and you are done;
2. Do the budget boost AND replace your fenders with Rubicon or Mojave fenders to add even more clearance/travel when off roading;
3. Buy a 2" full lift kit (or higher) that includes new springs (or spring extensions at least) and new shocks, longer control arms, etc. Option 3 costs the most and is probably not truly needed for 35s.

37s will cost you a fortune to do right. Re-gearing becomes almost a must, and suspension geometry correction parts strongly reccomended.

That makes sense I think option two is the best!

You can go with 35x11.5 18s and go with a 2" lift and not have to change out the fenders. This makes it so you won't rub and not have to get new wheels right away.

I have a 2022 Overland with 35 Toyo AT3’s. I have a BDS leveling kit and and have no problems with rubbing. It’s mostly my daily driver, as I’m also new to Jeeps, and only done a little off-roading. I haven’t needed a re-gear, but have a tazer mini to change the tire size in the computer. I’ve been very happy with it all. I don’t have a lot of pics, but here are a few:

That’s awesome we have the same one, I love the sting gray! I got the kit through a local shop by me, and I think it was around $500. I don’t remember what they charged me for the install, but I think it was just a couple hours of labor. I also don’t think I have a steering stabilizer, since it wasn’t part of the leveling kit. I think down the road when I (have more money ?) can add a lift I’ll probably make sure a stabilizer is part of that kit.

Also … my black rhino’s are 17” ??

Well, I’m not an expert, but if the tires remain the same height even with the bigger rims, then I’d think you’d be okay. I’m just not sure how the 20” rims would change how they fit.

Im running 37s on my Overland with Rubicon springs and a leveling kit. No rubbing or any issues. I did get my gears done tho, I went to 5.13s but most suggest 4.88s. Im definitely happy I didnt listen and went with the 5.13s.
