Just browsed a few local dealers today for fun and it seems the crazy discounts are starting to go back to normal pricing, at least around my area. Has anyone else noticed?

Should be good for future trade in values too.

With the on going UAW strike there should be no surprises on the discounts disappearing since neither of the Big 3 are backing down on the Strike negotiations.

I think the Big 3 wanna play hard ball and force UAW to burn up their slush funds........the said they had 6 months worth of benefits in reserves........I guess the big boss for UAW and his Eat the Rich t shirt has never played poker.......because like a rookie he showed his cards to early

No one wants to be first to reach a deal so that the deal cut can be used against the other two surviving companies. also frankly I think the big 3 could give a shit less about making a deal quickly because they all have 200-500 day inventory, and with interest rates, if their sales slump during the strike they’ll blame the strike when they release their shareholder news, instead of what it really is, overpricing, interest rates and economical factors

2008 UAW ran the Big 3 into bankruptcy.........I think the Big 3 want to return the favor.

Still almost 21,000 2023 Gladiators being built or for sale - they have to move them somehow.

I‘m thinking if this strike continues, people will grow impatient and settle for a 2023. I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of the good incentives, but it was odd to me that they are fluctuating now.

That is what I am seeing at our local dealership as well. I guess a good thing I didn't wait, got mine last Saturday. MSRP 67500, got it for 53K.....still too much.
Do you sincerely think that a Gladiator (I’m assuming Rubicon) is too much money at $53k? I get it if you are saying all vehicles are overpriced. If you’re talking about a JTR specifically, though, $53k is just about the cheapest way to get a Jeep that wears the “Rubicon” stickers.

And a Jeep that wears those stickers is far more capable than nearly any other truck in the segment as far as 4WD capability.

If thats the case, what brand new from a dealership vehicle isn’t too much for you?

Check the jeep web site under incentives and use your zip code, the 15%off msrp is still available in some areas.

Wow, that's a great discount you got there. Probably the most off I've read of.

The midsize segment is pretty ridiculous still and this is probably the new normal. If you're looking to buy a truck for truck/bed/cargo/comfort purposes, a full size V8 isn't far off from what you're paying for a loaded Gladiator. If you're looking to buy an off-road truck, then that is where the JT comes into play with the capabilities and why it is at the price it is.
