Welcome to the forum! Congrats on the Mojave. You'll have loads of fun with it and get looks to boot!

Also, if you are happy with the factory rock sliders/rails and don't need steps, I found that the Weathertech splash guards are a great addition to cut down on the rock chips that may occur on your door hinges while driving. Even though they state Rubicon only on their website, the factory rails are the same. The molded fit is perfect and look good too. And they don't hang down too far like some other brands.

So just to clarify, you have a Mojave BUT put the Weathertech for the Rubicon on your truck and they fit fine but these will not work if you change out the factory rails for nerf bars, correct? I had some splash guards on my last truck and need to add that to the list for my new Mojave that is only 2 weeks old but I am planning on getting some Nfab nerf bars.

She did come with trail rails. Adding that to list of questions for tomorrow. Thank you.
Dee, I think both of the Bak Flip models work with the trail rails. I believe that is one of the questions that I asked before I ordered. I don't have them but may add them but leaning towards the molle panels. May or may not get both. May be overkill. Also a bed mat is great. I will be ordering one from rough country. They are pretty thick and should keep things from moving around. I'm waiting to see if they will have some black Friday deals before I order.
Also I am right down the road from you in Holly Springs/Canton area. Usually ride the Harley on back roads up and around your area at times. :)

JCappy We’re neighbors! Many bikers and Jeepers in N Ga in Spring and Fall. Perfect temps and beautiful backdrops of valleys and mountains. I’d walk around the grocery store parking then and stalk all the Jeeps. :0) Now I have my own.

I have a Rubicon but took off the factory rails and replaced them with nerf bars with steps and Weathertechs work fine. I'd be surprised to hear of any step or rock rail they won't work with.

Do they have the cutout for the factory rails? The pictures I've seen show you can cut out a section but it looks like you can leave the cutout attached. Weathertech states they won't work with any other side steps, just the factory rails. I would think if they have the cutout and the factory rails aren't in place that a lot of stuff would get through the opening as if there were no mud flaps in place. Just trying to figure out what would be best to get to protect my new truck. Thanks

You are correct. The Weathertech will only work with the Rubicon and Mojave factory (standard) rock rails/sliders. They will not fit with any optional step bars. You may want to check out these...

Renegade did not have a Black Friday sale last year. Diamondback did have a Black Friday sale last year though.

Darkamek, good information. Still hoping. I really don’t think Renegade will this year either. They currently have a 6 month lead time to fulfill which means 6 months worth of customers on que that would be very disappointed if while they are waiting others are getting a discount.

I have the Diamondback cover on two of my trucks. I’m happy with their cover, I did like the renegade design more but the price was more.

Yes they have a cutout (sort of ) for the factory rubi rails which both Mojave and Rubicons have from the factory. I can tell you I removed my rock rails and put on a set of nerf bars with side steps and there's no issues. The cutout is molded into the shape of the Weathertech splash guards I haven't had any issues with mud accumulating and have been through several deep mud pits.
The Rockblox seem to be another popular option to hopefully keep some of the tire fling debris from dinging up hinges and ETC. But I have no experience with them. I chose Weathertech as I liked the look better and have been very happy.

I like the Weathertech as well. The picture online looks like the front is a full flap but have the shape of where they could be either cut out or punched out. I would think if they were pre-cut to fit the rail they would look funny without the rails. So are yours a full flap in the front with just the shape of where it could be cut out? Possibly have a picture you would be willing to share as I'm more of a visual person lol. I appreciate your help. Thanks

I have the weathertechs ... there is a recess molded into the flap that fits the factory rock rail. No cut out or punchout required. Will try to take a picture or two for you later today if I can get a break between calls at work.

Here are a few pictures that show how the factory rails on my rubicon line up with the weather tech flaps. I have some additional fender extensions too, so that’s why the outside edge of the flap does align perfectly …

To be honest, I think I would be better off with the rokblokz flaps but I still haven't convinced myself to spend the money on them yet .... I will probably only do that upgrade if I manage to tear off a weathertech on the trails :)
