Before Covid, sounds right…. I got mine in 2019 also, fall if I remember correctly. Got the truck in April, added that n-fab product and got stuck on them first trip out. They came off fast.

How do you like the bed cover?
I like it, it does make it a little limited on how big of stuff you can put in the bed with the cover on.

The old ACE Engineering rocksliders cost NOTHING in ground clearance, and held my truck off the bodywork when I dropped the driver side in a wash. I did about 8 Luke Duke entry/exits through the driver side door window, at my age that required the ground level with the door. No need to lose the rails, and the coverage they provide, to add additional protection.

I like them....... I am just not sure about them being below the factory rails. I make good use of the factory rails and would not want to lose any more clearance.
Any plans on them replacing the factory rails and moving them upwards?

The pictures show clearly they don't impinge on ground clearance, the frame is the limiting factor.

Nice but lower your clearance..something that may matter to ya.

I got this one in March of 2020. It sits up so you have more access. I like the concept, however, the rails rusted out and the clamps for the arms to hold it up have broken. Will post in the correct forum for this, but disappointed on this one. ARMIS HARD FOLDING TONNEAU COVER

Officially installed and on the truck!!!! Heavy snow here in Michigan so just out and about.

One improvement over the ACE sliders of old, they are not slippery!! Just had my winter boots and I had great grip and did not slip at all. Running errands this evening with lots of snow, water and ice.

Also noticed the angle at the ends goes farther under the truck to reduce the impact of debris hitting the previous flat surface and chipping away at the finish. Another improvement!

Very happy, this is my fourth set of sliders including stock on this vehicle. Very nicely done!

Looking forward to the trails this year amd the protection.

They look great. I presume install was straightforward.

Afternoon, they mount to the frame brackets. No problems.

I was out again this morning in this Michigan mess. Boots are not slipping.

They are doing 30% off for the launch in case anyone is interested.

Just saw that sale! I'm in need of new sliders. No drilling or anything needed to mount to the frame? I like the idea of frame mounted better than body mounted.

That is correct. I had his previous ones with the other company and they mounted the same way and I can say held up to a beating, not just from below but also the sides!

They just loaded a product release video that can answer most questions.

Mentioning again about the 30% launch price

Great find! Adam emailed me Friday saying he'd let me know what he has available. The frame-mounted is appealing to me. I will def post pics when I have them on. I'm thinking of angled up with step plates.

I’ve got a set of the previous iteration, ACE Fabrication, on my 2020 JTR. A number of folks have expressed hesitancy with dealing with the body mount bolts. I’m a poor mechanic at best. A breaker bar and battery powered DeWalt impact driver had the 6 bolts removed in less than 10 minutes. Installation was simple doing it solo. I just used some 8” X 8” post scraps I had lying around to rest the sliders on during installation. So far, I am very pleased with these sliders.
