Hi there, bought a Gladiator Overland 2021 a few weeks back. This glad was lifted 2 inches and no other components replaced (suspension etc...) so clearly, evrything is still stock. Here is my question: I feel that the body roll is quite present while driving, is there a way to correct the situation by stifenning or replacing something on it? Thanks!

Be sure the anti-sway bars are still connected, nothing broken. The mount points at the back can break at the frame, for example.

Maybe the shocks are blown.

Other than that, stiffer shocks, LT-E tires. Sports car-ish handling, but you will the pavement bumps too.

#1 What shocks you running? If it’s the factory ones, maybe they’re blown. If it’s the Mopar Fox ones, you may just not like how soft they are.

#2 What’s your tire pressure? If it’s too low, you could experience some body roll from that too but it’s less drastic than that of a blown/soft shock

It’s stock but lifted two inches , really look into the lift is it springs or spacers, you have a heavy bumper and winch on front and a fiberglass cap on back , so as others have said look at sway bars, shocks as possible things also. Nice looking Jeep by the way, welcome…..Jack

I’m confused. It’s lifted but everything is stock? Maybe the anti sway bar is disconnected.
The suspension is stock, the sway bar is connected also. I ment that nothing was modified except the 2 inch lift on top of the springs.

Nothing seems "blown" visually speeking, as for the tire pressure, they are as indicated for the tires on the glad.

The stock shocks are extremely soft and they last about 30k miles. I had my first set changed at 12k with stiffer ones to prevent bottoming out on my JTRD as part of the TSB.

The stiffer shocks were noticeably better at first and there was no more rocking or bottoming out and my Jeep settled out quickly. 20k miles later I got one front one bad, my tire is cupping and they’re noticeably softer overall.

I can’t wait to get rid of them and get some Bilsteins. I tend to change mine around every 50k anyway.

Curves, if it was in a straight line, the dealer would have it back to investigate.

You are going to continue to get these simple (to you) questions because you are not providing enough detail in your original post. How do you think we can diagnose your issue on the internet without more information?

How do you know everything is stock? You bought it used. "Clearly", you have aftermarket bumper and winch which puts undue stress on the front suspension.

How do you know the front control arms are stock? The Mopar 2 inch suspension control arms look stock, but are about 1/4" longer. The only way to tell without measuring them is the stamped stock number.

Body roll in corners is subjective. My brand new stock JT Rubicon had body roll in curves. Some owners it didn't bother because not many complained on the forum. But for me the body roll was something I needed to correct to get it to my standards.

I am willing to bet it’s just the factory shocks. We were pretty unhappy with the ride factory shocks offered too….
Bilstien 5100’s- full set can be had around $400. This is an upgrade and is probably the cheapest option out there.
Since all that was done were spacers- a little longer shock might be a good thing anyways. Just ensure the swag bar end links do not over extend to the point of flipping with longer shocks.

these will work and not flip/over extend (rubicon) sway bars- you would need to verify anything else…

Since I'm a new owner (learning and all), I appreciate the education I get from your answer!

When you look at the sway bar from the sides, is it horizontal? Is it pointing slightly up or down at the rear?
