Newb glad owner here. Just getting started on the build first with new shoes I picked up yesterday. Trying to figure out the lift but like everyone else, 4.5 up front and 2.5 rear seems to get it just right.

Here is the beginning of mine getting qoutes right now on gears and elocker up front debating between 5.13 and 5.38’s. For anyone else that has

40’s can you let me know what gears you went with and what do you think about your decisoon.

With the weight of the 40s and beadlock wheels, IMO the 5.13 is not enough. With the 5.13 I can get to 8th gear but it has to be flat, flat, flat.
