I have had my JT only 6 months, so it's probably too early to be looking for a duck to show up on my door handle. Given the old adage, "You have to give to receive", I ordered a package of 25 ducks with cards on TEMU for $8 (.32 ea.). Got them last week and now I'm ready to duck the town!

I got a duck!? After building the truck for 4 years! Maybe the layer of dust on it made the difference.

I opted to spear him on the Rubigrid for a more secure ride.

Ain't got pics but i got a funny story. Back when i first got my Jeep, all my buddies asked if I was gonna subscribe to the duck culture. And i was like, hell no never. Little did i know they were setting me up for a prank, cus i went away from Toyota and our group use to be solely Toyota. First real trip out with all of em and they ducked the shit out of me all weekend. everytime I turned my back or went to go do something, I'd come back to 8-15 ducks all over. Turns out the fuckers bought like 500 duck bulk on amazon and all agreed to take shifts playing the Duck Fairy when i wasn't looking. IDK how they kept straight faces all weekend and acted like nothing was up. Drove home with ducks in every nook and cranny. every once in awhile i'll go to do something on my truck only to discover i didn't get em all.

I have bombed many a parking lot. I had to make it a rule that everyone in the jeep had to stuff their pockets and duck anything with a Jeep badge in the parking lot. took 3 months to get rid of most of em. I only put one on my dash though. Cus that was the only true duck imo. I traded with another Jeep on the trail and to me thats the true spirit of Ducking. A memorable token of meeting a like minded individual with the same taste in vehicle out in the middle of nowhere. The last 4x4 show i went to in Oklahoma before I moved, they used Ducks as participation trophies. So I only show off the ones "earned", if you know what I mean.

I picked up my 22 JTRD on 12/22/2021 and have yet to be ducked. Granted in 5 months, I only have 1,200 miles and I rarely park in a public parking lot. I live in Trussville Alabama(near Birmingham) and I'm starting to believe it is not the most JEEP friendly area.... it's even difficult to get a return wave from most, almost like there is an unspoken bias against the Gladiator from the Wrangler crowd.. ?? It seems the people around here are mostly just Jeep owners and not inthusiast.

So PLEASE .... share your Duck stories... giving/receiving , along with pictures of your collection.

Came out of a store and there was a rubber duck in my door handle. I was like WTF? Went h home and found out how the ducks work, bought a box online, passed out three so far on sweet rides...

I was Ducked 9 times today at the local Jeep Fest. Got 3 big ducks, 4 regular size, and 2 mini ducks. Took 1st place in the Gladiator class.

When I got my gladiator in February I bought a bag of ducks. Here in Florida on the beach we get a lot of visitors. My wife loves “ducking” a cool looking Jeep from out of state. Adds something to their trip hopefully. We have gotten two in return as a thank you. Mine is far from done but she loves finding one on the Beast when we come out of a restaurant or bar.

Cant' believe it - my wife called me from the grocery store parking lot tonight and said "guess what - got another duck today!".
3 in Florida, then one in the hospital parking lot last month, and other tonight at the grocery store.

I bought a bunch of 'mini ducks' and I told my husband I needed to add about 3 mini's on the dash with the main duck (to form a family). Currently...I only have two ducks on the dash.

He just glared at me and said....I'm removing them when I drive!!

I think I have about ten now.

This is the clearest close up I have.
You can see em on the dash.
I need to put Velcro strips on the dash to keep them from flying around while wheeling. At the moment we put them in the glove box or console.
