I was on the 2nd set of white drl’s when I emailed them in January about more issues. They asked if wanted another set or if I would be willing to wait a few weeks for the “new” design. I chose to wait lo and behold, 1st week of February they show up out of nowhere ?. I’m praying these hold up better than the old design. I will say they are brighter and look better than before. So far so good.

I've had a set from Quake for over 2 years and never had an issue. I was able to install these puppies myself and anytime I had a problem, their team got back to me pretty damn quick.

I will likely get these ones for the new build I am doing with my son, and will keep you posted if its what I do!

However, anything id gotten from Quake has always been solid.

You are correct, we constantly update our products with every production run. The newest version does have different diodes than previously used that have a lower fail rate through our testing and are indeed brighter. You'll notice that there are no longer nuts that pass through the light, as the bottom is fully sealed to help with any weak spots against moisture intrusion, and the mold for the lens is also different.

These are new and have lot of extra added features we have been developing the past couple of years to make compatible with other product that are soon to be released, like headlights, whip lights, etc. These fenders have the HDX strip added in addition to the strip that comes in the base model chop kit, so that's where the additional cost comes from.

Passenger side has the fender flare screw and looks to not have inner fender liner.
Driver side looks to have chopped inner fender liner and no fender flare screw.
Is that part of the design update or was the install just not complete in the vid.

I was looking at old install videos for the previous version and it seemed to be something people were not a fan of.
