Hello, thanks for this info wildtaco! I am a new Jeep owner 2014 GC Overland in the UK, and have this issue with the headlights being too sensitive - in Auto mode they're on nearly all day unless its ultra bright sunshine.

Please could you tell me which menu in JSCAN you used as I couldn't find the Headlamp Threshold option on iOS app!

Thanks! Mike.

Hello Mike,

I took a look at the Grand Cherokee settings in Demo mode and did not see the Auto Headlamp On and Off Threshold setting there. On the Gladiators, it’s in the first menu called “Auto Headlamp and Auto Highbeam settings” under Adaptations.

What I recommend is to reach out to JScan on Facebook. The owner is really helpful and can probably add the feature for you.

Cheers!

Cheers! I have just looked at the Gladiator demo mode and see that adaption option listed first too - but not for either WK2 GC's. I don't have facebook, but maybe I can contact them in another way! Thanks for your help again ?

So more voltage that the sensor registers equals less sunlight? Increasing threshold voltage makes the lights turn on later than they normally would?

Yes to both.
