Shop recommendation - North of Atlanta

Its a little hike (160 miles) but go see Jon at RPM Extreme in Gardendale Alabama. They do good work and he knows Jeeps better than most.

Total Off-road in Kennesaw is doing my 4.88 re-gear as we speak.

I do most of my wrenching myself. But everything else like regear, alignment and tire mount/balancing I've been very happy with their work.

So how did it turn out? I’m in a similar boat and same general vicinity ?. Did they push a specific brand? Labor in the $130 range?

Turned out great. They tried to convince me to use Yukon gears and buy the parts through them...

I insisted on Dana Spicer gears and ended up buying everything through Summit Racing for cheaper (did have to wait a few months for the spicer rebuild kits).

I paid $1300 for labor and they kept it overnight.

So far it's perfect. Kinda wish I went with 5.13s instead of the 4.88s though.
