That is a great price, especially for a big chain store. Our local shop does them for $25 but it's a small place and they have trouble keeping help so there is no telling who's doing them at any given time. Always best here to have a torque wrench handy to check them before driving off

So after buying the 35" Terra Hunters for $87 ea., and selling them, now I am contemplating the purchase of five Terras since I traded the Willys for a Rubicon. I wish I hadn't sold the tires. When you mention that you can feel the lag, is it really that bad?
No, it wasn't terrible but you could feel a subtle difference. Since running the narrow and light 35" tires for about 5000 miles, I am now on 37x12.5r17s Baja Boss ATs that weigh 80 pounds each. Moving from the 35s to these the difference is much more noticeable but my 3.6 Rubicon handles them well. The auto trans isn't in 8th as often but I still see it more than I thought from the reviews I've read. When funds allow I will regear to help with towing and I'll most probably go to 5.13.
Thanks for the reply. I'm probably going to stay at 35 since I don't want to regear. To do so is a logistical nightmare since there is no local shops here that do that. Don't get me wrong I fancy 37s but since I live at 7,300 ft., and I tow, I don't want to hurt that capability too much by going 37s. On the Terra Hunters I can't find the actual weight since it is all over the place. I've seen as low as 56lbs to 69lbs. Did you weigh them before installing them?
Yes I did and if I remember correctly they were right at 60 pounds on my bathroom scale. I completely agree with you about staying with 35s for towing. I still have mine mounted and when I need to tow anything more than a few miles, I can have them back on quickly.
The night I posted them Walmart had them down in less than 2 hours. I ordered 5 and still have them in storage. They look like decent tires but I haven't had a need for them yet.The OP's link to those walmart tires went up $110 in 3 months.
No real confusion I was just surprised at how much the the tires went up in price within 3 months. Almost doubled in price. Lol
They didn't really go up in price but came down to $125 for about an hour, that was the original reason for this post. On walmart.com, these Kanatis usually fluctuate between $210 to $240 each but like everything else at walmart, they occasionally have tires priced wrong. The reason I started this post was because they were mistakenly priced at $125 rather than what I'm guessing should have been $225. The price was corrected quickly but if you catch them while the listing is still up you can get a great deal on tires. I reread that and I hope it doesn’t come off like I’m trying to lecture you, that was not my intent.
