Hello everyone. I am new to the forums and I hope to find a guru to assist me a little bit. I am currently awaiting the last few parts and will be replacing my engine and transmission. This is a 23 Gladiator Rubicon. Aside from replacing all of the parts, my main question is what will need to be done with the PCM/TCM ect. I assume I will have to initialize a reset of adaptation values, and a TCM quick learn for the transmission and a PCM cam crank relearn. I hope this is all I will need. But would like to hear if I am missing anything.

Thanks in advance!

Well if it's a matter of a R&R you should be good to go. But there are still undefined unknowns with this swap. Is the drivetrain coming out of another '23 of the same year group? The PCM doesn't give a shit unless it from outside of it ok knowledge

Thanks, I kind of figured it was still that way. But haven't found much about the newer gen. The drive train is a mopar replacement block and a 2022 take out trans with 39 miles. Same year group I am pretty certain. As the part numbers are the same.

If the part numbers are the same, it should be a plug and play situation

If you dont mind the ask, what went wrong to cause the replacement and knock it out of warranty? (Assuming this isn’t a V8 swap since you said replacement).
