There’s a bit more to it. You’ll have to pull the bumper and blow it apart. Drive out the stud-bolts from the tow hooks, then assemble it all back together as it installed on the truck. The D-ring mounts will need to be custom fitted with a grinder. You need to get new grade 8 hardware to mount it all up… 5/8 x 4 inch (iirc)

That sounds like a F.I.L. and S.I.L bonding project hahahaha. Also, might take a bit to get all the hardware gathered up to do it (2 week town).

Yep, plus I have done it. I’ll get a list of parts needed to do it.

Just a little photo dump of the current setup. Tested the new lift and tires vigorously and the bump stops are only allowing the tires to kiss the fenders at full flex. I was really hoping it would pop one off and give me a reason to do the fender chop, but alas I will have to wait on that.

How is the AEV spacer lift offroad specifically? Did you add anything else lift/suspension wise besides the aev kit? I was thinking about doing kind of a frankenstein spacer lift until I decide what I want to do in the long term. But only put pieces on that would stay on for the full suspension lift besides the actual spacer pucks. So MC track bars, MC sway bar links, MC bumpstops, MC Geometry correction bracket, MC rear track bar relocation, cheap bilstiens at first till the full suspension lift was decided. Also, what rack is that? That allows for the Tonneua cover still?

So, with the AEV lift I have gained a very nice amount of ground clearance. As of right now it has performed flawlessly off-road with ZERO issues. However I am inquiring about a set of springs from Rock Krawler to eliminate the spacers. As I said this lift has Zero downfalls as far as performance, I just don't like the look of the big thick spacers, I have had them in several other vehicles I have owned and they just don't look right (IMO). At first it was not driving the way I wanted (street wise) so I added some Mopar 2" lift fixed LCA's and the following:
SuperPro Suspension Jeep Gladiator HD Adjustable Rear Track Bar TRC1183 (20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT) - Free Shipping
RSO Suspension Jeep Gladiator Heavy Duty Adjustable Front Track Bar for 0 to 4.50-Inch Lift 170118-441600 (20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT) - Free Shipping
Teraflex Jeep Gladiator 9550 VSS Steering Stabilizer; Stock Tie Rod 1514001 (20-25 Jeep Gladiator JT) - Free Shipping
After all these parts its currently driving better than it did off the dealer lot when I brought it home. The AEV Spacer Lift could either be an entry level lift or with a bit more money spent like I did, could be your final ideal lift for the life of your vehicle. Another factor to consider is what exactly you are wanting to do with your rig. I simply overland and go explore abandoned mines long forgotten deep in the middle of nowhere. So I am in no way heavy rock crawling or severely beating on my rig. Now for more detail, the Adjustable Track Bars were to re-center the JT on the axles (it had about half an inch ((IIRC the rear was shifted to the Pass side and the front was shifted to the Drivers side, or could have been vice-versa)) of sidetracking according to several measurements) but the Mopar 2" fixed LCAs which are from the factory option Mopar lift eliminated and wander and allowed it to track properly on the street (also make sure you adjust your tire pressure accordingly). If I were to rate the lift just with the AEV kit installed it would be a 8/10 simply because of the sidetracking and mild wandering on the street. Now that being said with the LCAs and Trackbars added on 10/10 absolutely love the way this thing handles and performs off-road (It performs flawlessly with just what AEV provides also). As far as shocks, the AEV kit allows you to maintain the use of your factory fox shocks which I have zero issues with. But you could easily upgrade if you don't like them. With the AEV shock extensions that come with the lift you would need factory length shock I believe, or don't install the extensions and use a set of 2"-4" lift shocks (that versatility is nice to have). I hope this helps in your decision!!

The Bed Rack was from TKMAUTO off of Amazon, It appears that the one I got is no longer available from them. But the Rack that I have does not work with the Tonneau cover as the rack will only allow the cover to raise up about an inch and a half. I added the cover (since it fits) for extra protection to keep all my gear safe when I travel to/through the bigger cities (thank you Jeep for locking Tailgates). In all honesty I am looking at the American Adventure Labs LBE (Load Bearing Enclosure) fully kitted out for my final bed modification. Something about the "half-height" stuff looks really good on the JT's IMO.
