Well it's alive! Tune loaded in and all running great. It is definitely a big change from where it was. It is really peppy around town, you barely even need to give it throttle scooting around.

Light pull not full throttle at all.

Just remember I am about 6200lbs, 38s on beadlocks and 5.38 gears.

So what’s the verdict on mpg… maybe I can call this an investment if I can get a few mpg back 🤣

Lol you might see a MPG depending on your build. I bet if you were 100% stock you could get better. I have 40s on bead locks, 5.38 gears and extra weight I am getting 11mpg in town and freeway if I keep it at 60 and below i get 13mpg.

It crusies at 80 no problem holds 8th gear like a dream. I am also in Oregon where I do all my driving with my Gladiator. Most freeway speeds 55-65 and anything past 4 hours I'll be trailering it.

A massive increase in hp and torque with a 15% increase in MPG? That’s a win.

Supercharger and MPG are two things that don't belong together.

Nope not at all I would listen to the advertising lmao. When I am off road on the trails I get 8-9mpg lol. You can baby It on the road but it does not take much more throttle for bad fuel economy.

Even putting around the procharge will spool up and it just takes off and your not in the throttle. It's awesome but you know you just messed up your MPG lol.

Anything that potentially makes more power will burn more fuel. You can't make power without burning fuel. Superchargers cram more air into the engine for the sole purpose of burning more fuel. Blowers, turbos, nitrous....IT IS ALL ABOUT BURNING MORE FUEL! Top Fuel dragsters have 30 something injectors the size of shower heads just dumping gallons of nitromethane per second for the sole purpose of making ungodly power.

I get people being concerned about mileage, but come on, these are Jeeps and when you stick power adders to them they do not , cannot, get more fuel efficient.

Absolutely, I definitely did not add a procharger to get better fuel economy. It was an all smile per mile reason.

Yeah right I get it.

I'm just saying for those that may have some illusions about power adders and gas mileage. Not everyone understands this stuff and Jeep people are seemingly often misguidedly blathering about power and/or fuel efficiency. Mileage and efficiency are not necessarily the same. You can have a more thermally efficient engine and improve mileage. You can also have a thermally efficient engine that makes gobs of power and consumes fuel like a fat kid let loose in a candy store.

I had to specify if my car's engine was 500 HP or below, or over 500 HP when I ordered a new fuel pump from RobbMC last week. There's a reason for that.

Exactly. When I worked with engine dynos for drag racing we'd predict and measure fuel consumption (BSFC) as a gauge for how lean or rich the mixture is for a given power output. Even trying to be as lean as possible those engines drank fuel like crazy. Sometimes we couldn't even jet the carbs big enough to satisfy what the engines really wanted. We'd take the biggest jets Holley offered and drill them out and then have to tune it with air bleeds. Crazy stuff sometimes. All to burn more fuel.

I've heard both sides and I think it comes down to a few things. Most failures are coming from the valve train and piston from too much pre-detenation. Running the proper tune, colder spark plugs, and friction modifiers in oil. Changing oil at recommended manufacturer intervals Is no more. I've always changed oil at 5k on all my vehicles and now this one will be done every 3k. I will be running the Baxer oil filter mod for added help.

I hope I get the same results as I've heard, 60k miles no issues. We will see how it goes lol.
I have had the same procharger set up on my 2020 for about a year now. Have not noticed any problems yet. It has developed a whine that it did not have in the beginning, Gas mileage sucks, but it always has with this vehicle. I wish the power curve came on quicker. 3500 is too late for me. I like to play a round with larger trucks when they mess with me, I bought it for the torque as I haul a lot with my trailer. Just remember to change the oil in the SC at 500 miles. They had to retune mine 3 times the initial programing.
