If you are talking about the one I think you may be asking about - beware, they use wire that's waay too big, and it doesn't fit the terminals, and the terminal crimps are awful - not done by the correct tool.
They need to use much smaller wire (18 gauge TOPS, even 20 would work) and the correct crimp tool and a relay half that size is more than enough. These are LED, not high wattage aircraft lights.
The wires come out of the pins very easily.

Proper size wires for the pins/terminals and a proper crimp tool would prevent this mess -

Drop down a gauge or so - would be a lot better. This is way overkill for our electric system needs - and that wire is way too big for the terminals -

Literally came apart days after install.

I have everything I need to make my own - including the correct size wire in silicon, just need to get some of the pins because I don't have the correct ones for these connectors (I have a great selection, just not these)

Next time, I follow my rule - want it done right, do it yourself...........
Well, that's a bummer, I haven't even taken mine out of the bag yet to install it, figured it would be one of those "as long as it's apart" projects. If I have to rewire it, I will.

After a few weeks, my license plate lights totally stopped working. I decided to take a look - wires sticking out. As I removed it from the truck, others just slid out. Looking at the ends of those wires - too big, and some strands are bent out of place and so on.

Great idea, just not well implemented at all.

If we want them to stay in business........ they best not cross into that territory.
Could get expensive for them.

I don't own one, but don't want them to go away, either.

One is federal law with penalties, the others not.

you mean like keep it off while backing out of a parking spot and only enabling it when you're hitching up a trailer?

I also thought only in reverse.

A side note - I don't have a problem with the license plate lights and camera on my 2025 - something seems different about it. There's not the same glare and the whole image is lighted differently. Did Jeep work on this?
I have a 21 and never have had a glare issue.

Hit the mute button twice, it will at minimum turn it on and off if not already in use.

seat belt ding is federal
Short alert, yes. That's true.
That is law.
Required -
"Not less than 4 seconds, not more than 8."

the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration does not have the authority to require, or specify as a compliance option, an audible seatbelt warning that sounds outside the specified 8 second period. However, the statute does not prohibit vehicle manufacturers from voluntarily providing audible signals that sound outside that period.

So many of the annoying "keeps reminding me" ones are the auto makers doing.

Wait until 2026 and 2027 if you think it's bad now. "Enhanced" alert systems for the front seats and then mandatory for the rear seats as well.
New rules take effect.
Ouch.

It just keeps getting better and better. [/sarcasm]

That's right - NH - the area where liberty was born. I forgot you were there.

We can drive almost anything, here - side-by-sides, whatever, on our streets and highways (not the interstates, but others).
In many towns, you can drive your golf cart to downtown for shopping. No inspection laws of any sort - safety or emissions.
