Moon Shade Awning (w/o any racks or RTT to secure to)?

Has anyone used the Moon Shade awning on their Gladiator without having any racks or a roof top tent to secure it to? I am not sure how to secure the awning with either a temporary or a permanent mount option. The top is hard plastic and there is not any span of 7' or 9' available for the mount options that I can see. All of the examples I see with Gladiators are using a rack system or RTT to secure to.

Trying to find awning options utilizing the truck but am not finding any given my lack of rack system.

Thanks. A little larger than what I need but I like the ability to strap the back to the tires and use poles for the outer sides for the truck.

For me, I don't have a cap on my bed so I'm hoping it's big enough to cover from my cab back past the tailgate a little bit.
