I bought a used 2024 gladiator from a dealership, not a Jeep dealership. I was able to create an account and verify ownership of the vehicle on the Mopar site (after sending them tons of documents, numerous times). I however cannot use the Jeep Connect app on the iphone. The error says to call in and authorize the VIN. After 10 calls to Mopar/Jeep I've given up. On my Mopar dashboard on the website, it says that Jeep Connect has expired and when I click on renew, there's no options available. My guess is when they took the old owner out of the system and put me in, it canceled out Jeep Connect. Any wisdom on how to proceed? The app seems like it could be convenient. Thx for any advise

Did you go to your local Jeep dealership and ask them? …and before you let them brush you off…. Talk to a Manager.

Your local non-jeep dealer probably isn’t familiar with anything JEEP and/or Uconnect and they probably missed registering you somewhere. Wild guess…

Prepare yourself for some heartburn. If you’re lucky enough to find decent dealer support, then kudos.
Mine has been a colossal pain in the ass on my 24. Gave up.

Haha... ya it took about 5 times of sending all the documentation to Mopar to get hem to recognize me as the new owner...still have my name wrong in the database. I'm not sure this is even worth the effort...nice people but wow!

Congratulations on making it further than I did.
I’m not in the best of company down here. People are livid about their Jeep/Ram/Dodge cars being in the shop for 4-6 weeks. The dealership and its warranties are worthless due to ā€œlack of accessā€.

Be thankful your issue is small… šŸ˜‚

ISSUE RESOLVED...based on some help here, I contacted UConnect NOT Mopar for this issue and UConnect was able to activate Jeep Connect immediately after sending them proof of ownership. I had been dealing with Mopar and they never mentioned dealing with UConnect directly. UConnect guy said it is a common problem for them. I called the 800 777-3600 number. Hope this helps anyone in the future.
