@Schaft, they changed the law last year, you can run without doors in PA now.

@Chasm, I run the factory steps on my Rubicon for that exact reason. Swap them for the rock rails when I go to the offroad park. The steps do a great job keep the muck off of the side of the Jeep.

To the original poster, I run a -6mm offset 17 x 9 wheel with 37" KO2's. They poke an inch or so. Been all over the state and haven't had an issue with the po-po FWIW. A +18 or +25 should keep the tire completely under the flare.

Thanks for that info

AEV rims. 17x8.5, offset +25mm, back spacing 5.72" will keep your tires under the fender. But with 37's. Think you will rub.

I'm south of the 'burgh. On the Mon river.
I have 17x8.5, 0 offset, 4.75 backspacing with 37's. No rub. They poke a little.

What lift do you have then with 0 offset/4.75 backspace?

For reference, here is my current setup. OEM Mopar steel wheels, 37x12.50 Firestone M/T2's. Hardly any poke, but they don't care about that sort of thing around here regardless. Every other truck seems to get away with looking like an overgrown, off-road skateboard.

I live in Pa also. I went with the narrow 35 inch tires 285/85r17 on the factory wheels. I do have aftermarket fender flares that are like the rubicon flares. I think some manufacturers do make narrow 37 inch tires.

I live in Western Pennsylvania as well, and I am running 35x11.50x18 Falken Wildpeak AT4 on my stock 18” wheels and they don’t stick out much at all but I added the fender flares like the ones on 35 extreme package on the wranglers just to prevent stone chips.
