Who’s run 38’s with factory 4.10’s?

I have the itch for 38’s. Currently running 37” ko2’s, which fortunately weight 62 lbs. I’m nervous about stepping up to a 38 due to weight and increased diameter. But I REALLY want them LOL. Anyone running them with 4.10’s? I really don’t want to regear and am perfectly content with how the ko2’s and 4.10’s drive.
Would there be much difference between a 37 and 38 in terms of driving experience if they weigh the same? There are definitely a few 37’s that weigh basically the same as milestars 38’s and it seems a good amount of people run many different 37’s and 4.10’s, some with minimal to no complains.

it will be a decent step up in tire weight, about 80lbs in total.

I’m in the same boat. Have the 37” Patagonia’s right now with stock gearing. Still get 23 mpg (diesel). I haven’t had any issues. Even did the Rubicon with this set up. But I also have that itch to go to 38’s but not sure if the juice it’s worth the squeeze.

I mean I know it’s not much different in height so in hindsight it’s probably not worth it lol. But I just want them 😆 you’d be jumping 10lbs a tire and I would be around 20. The diesel I’m sure would make life more enjoyable.

I am still running a relatively stock JTR so I am in no way an expert here. But isn't the difference between a 37" tire and a 38" tire one inch. And from the standpoint of height, it would increase the height of the Jeep by 1/2 inch, correct?

Is one half of one inch really an issue worth spending hundreds of dollars to change since you are also adding slightly over 3" to each rotation of the tire. Doesn't that have a negative impact on torque or whatever the proper mechanical term is?

Just wondering.
