I feel like this has happened to me once before but it hasn't been this persistent. 2022 Gladiator with ~20k miles, original batteries. I drove from Colorado to Texas a few days ago drove around Houston a bit. Yesterday morning I went out to the truck and noticed the center dash screen and PUSH-TO-START button remained on overnight. All doors are closed. I have the base sport model (no power doors/locks etc). I attempted to cycle through acc/run both with/without engine on, closing all doors, fiddling with my iPhone and making sure everything was disconnect and off prior to turning engine off...no dice. Screen and push to start button still stay lit. I disconnected negative battery terminal and isolated all negative leads for several minutes and reconnected...still on. Since I'm away from my home I went and picked up a battery tender to keep it on while I'm down here. Any other thoughts on what I can try in the mean time?

I will plan to swap out the main battery and delete aux once I get home in a few days. It's a July 2022 build, so original batteries are ~3.5 years old. I assume this is a symptom of them starting to fail.

Cheers and Happy "it's a jeep thing" Holidays!

If you have a Tazer, this is one of the mentioned side effects of incorrectly rebooting and performing two sleep cycles after settings changes have been made.

I re-booted the taser just to be sure and no change either. New battery is getting topped off and will go in soon along with the auxiliary battery delete..we shall see. Thanks yall.

Personally, I replaced both batteries, but aux delete is a common thing.

Well this stinks. New battery is in and the dash cluster screen still stays lit. AUX battery isolated at the main and fuse F42 pulled. No issues at all on startup. No crazy Christmas tree lights. I did pull codes from my Tazer and got these yesterday..

UPDATE: Issue is fixed! Once I replaced the battery and disconnected/isolated the aux battery I found the dash stayed lit. I was worried there was a deeper computer issue from the codes I pulled (see images) along with some "module no response" from the TCM and one other module. That lead me to consider un-marrying the tazer to make sure the issue wasn't related to it (and to prepare to bring to a dealer for diagnostics) but I decided to run through the entire fuse box first. Luckily I started at the fuses closest to the fender and found the DTCM (drivetrain control module) fuse F101 was just barely not all the way seated. I pulled and re-seated it and viola, dash is off!! I guess some bumps on my most recent road trip dislodged it just enough to cause an issue. Not sure why that fuse would cause the dash to stay lit to be honest, but new battery is in, aux is disconnected, and no issues...for now.

BLUF: I pulled and re-seated DTCM (drivetrain control module) fuse F101 and the dash went off.
