Just purchased a 2025 Mojave x. I love it and have been deep in the weeds with adding some personal touch. My 5”2 wife isn’t thrilled about trying to get in so I’m looking for some removable steps I can throw on when we are just cruising around. Problem is I don’t have the rubicon rails I have the “heavy duty rock rails with step assist” only found this out because I ordered some rokblokz mud flaps with the rubi cut outs thinking that’s what i had for rails. Turns out mine are almost twice as fat so I had to do a little extra cutting. Now I’m in a pickle… buy new sliders and have to get new flaps, or pray there’s a removable steps out there that will fit these rails. Help would be greatly appreciated

Guys Dan has the” Mopar Performance Steps” not the standard rock rails. Looks like Exceed might make something that’s in the pictures but pictures don’t look right, I would reach out to them and ask. I have the Performance Steps they are great my five foot wide does ok with them and the ground clearence is important for me, so in the future I will be getting RSE power steps or a small step stool,Ha!
Lot of people do not know about Mopar performance steps or the Mopar Performance steel front bumper. Mopar stuff is top quality and not cheap, I have steps and the bumper….!
Dan this is New Hampshire , but Vermont is close!

I have slider steps from Ironman 4x4.
Unfortunately…..after almost 2 years, they still haven’t updated their website to include 2023 or newer JT’s.

I ordered and installed them on my 2024. I sent them information and pictures telling them…Yes, they bolt up to a 2024, but apparently….that didn’t matter.

They’re a rock slider with a flat ledge across the whole side. Other than stepping into, I use them to step on while washing the roof. They are really heavy duty. If I were to ever do some rock crawling… I’d trust these things could withstand it.

That’s awesome! I’ll give them a call for sure, steel bumpers was one of my big sells on it. Thanks for the info. Great pic!

I’m curious how the Exceed’s will be myself. The sketches seem a little off but a couple of real pics on one of their Jeeps look pretty good! Will be interesting to hear feedback once released to market.

I would really talk to them first. The pictures are a little confused , although the steps have the groove on them to match the performance steps, in the pictures it seems to change and looks like the standard rub rails with a groove which they don’t have, perhaps it’s AI, but a phone call will clear it up. Shipping them back might be on you if they are wrong and they are not ready to ship yet anyway….Jack

Let me know if you need better pictures.

Honestly, I don’t really use the step. I mainly bought them for my wife who was already complaining with the 33” tires (Just wait until I move up to 35”!). When I get out, one of my feet naturally touches the step as I pivot out, but I don’t use it for any kind of actual assist. I’m 6’1” myself.

I'm short, like your wife, and I swapped out my factory rock rails (I bought mine in July 2019, so they're the standard Rubicon ones) with a pair of Nfab rock rails that have removable steps. I've wheeled with them and bashed them a few times. They've been as strong as the OEM rails for me. Each step is held on by two large bolts with corresponding nuts. It takes me about seven minutes to remove all four steps.
