STEEL BUMPER FROM AMAZON - RECOVERY POINTS - FLAT TOWING

Hello,

I bought on amazon (as per attached) steel bumper for my Rubi 2024.

After instaling it it turns out i have also 2 low point recovery / towing pints....

Would you please comment if those point / steel pieces could be ok for flat towing? I saw in older models of different cars that there are some basic flat tow systems before fancy - nancy blueox and others recent solutions which don't cost a fortune...

Anchored to the frame or to the bumper? How thick is the low tow points? What grade is the hardware used for bolting them?

My biggest concern, especially if the instructions do not specify it, would be the bolts. If of unknown origin and specs good bolts are cheap. I'd get replacements of high quality and feel a lot better about it.

i asked the seller of this and they confirmed this can be used for flat towing... the red piece is really beefy i must say... hardware i agree cannot confirm 100% but also looks very solid...

Do the bolts have a # on the head? 10.9?

Is it 8.8 perhaps?

If so, that's metric Class 8.8. Class 10.9 would be the better choice. Or Grade 8 if using SAE bolts.

Then again, they have their purpose and there's 4 of them, so pretty strong. Maybe find what other tow kits use.

As for the hooks themselves, Idk.
