Just test drove a red Rubi JT last night. The dealer, Lustine of Woodbridge Virginia had it $5K over MSRP in the $64K range. I'm not a Jeep person, and now drive a Volvo hardtop convertible. I though the ride quality was awesome! No problems going over ruts, bumps, or small pot holes. The steering was all over the place, not a huge issue for the short commutes here in DC, but would not want to drive a JT for extended times on the highway. My wife drove it too and she loved it, only complaint was the steering. Overall it was a good experience, but I'm still torn between the JT and an F-150 Platinum for about the same price.

$5k over msrp is just not cool tho. So if you buy one, don't buy that one.

No way I'm buying at MSRP or above. I told them I was working with two other dealers at 5% and 7% of invoice... He did not say a word...

The steering is usual for a Jeep, just something to get used too! Extended trips are fine. Nothing else drives or steers like a Jeep. Just my 0.02.

My wife and I test drove a JT Rubicon a few nights ago. MSRP $59,xxx. Selling price $64,xxx. Sales manager told me ownership will not allow any discounts including removal of their $5,000 dealer mark up. Some sucka' will come pay their full asking price but not me. Thanks for the test drive! I'll be ordering also at 6-7% under invoice.
