I think this will be one of the first things I do when my JTR comes in.

Now, who has the best price on these??

Is this an easy bolt on? Or does it require welding?

As I understand it there is no welding required and if you install it when the truck is new it should be fairly easy to unbolt the components and put the magnaflow system on.
I think there’s a YouTube video out there about it.

Well I had the Magnaflow catback rock crawler exhaust installed today.
A little bit disappointed.
It does sound better but it’s a little higher pitched than what I expected.
I would say more rice burner than throaty.

Can you take a short video of the sound?

I installed this exhaust yesterday as well.
Installation was easy(3 pieces), but removing that 10ft long single piece factory exhaust was a pain in the ass. I wasn't sure if I would like the exhaust, but knowing what I do now I would have cut it in pieces since storing that large factory exhaust isn't really an option.
I like the sound. It has a nice tone for a V6(It will never sound like a V8 :crying:). I was expecting it to be a little louder than it is coming from the JL/JK Rock crawler exhausts, but it sounds good when you get on it. Cruising around at a consistent speed it's barely noticeable over stock.

Yep I agree with you on it barely being noticeable at a consistent speed.
Overall I’m happy with it.

Question is: Do you like it better than stock? I'd like something throatier if/when I get a JT. (like a 5.7 . . . yeah, I'm gonna keep bangin' that drum!)

I've been running the same kit for a week. Had some of the same initial impressions as others here. It's higher pitched than I hoped and I know it's damn near impossible to make a V6 sound like I was hoping it would. I'm a fan though, and I'm glad too because rather than struggle with that factory exhaust I cut it to pieces for ease of install. That thing showed no signs of budging in any direction when I was just trying to wiggle it out of there. Sawzall FTW.

I will say that the exhaust paired with a steep hill gets a little ugly, as the truck tries to decide which gear it wants and the RPMs are all over the place as it shifts. The fact that I'm running 37s with stock 4.10 hasn't been a problem ever but I notice the transmission confusion on hills more now that the exhaust is a little louder.
