Regarding the soft top window storage bag, answering a couple questions from an earlier post: (1) there are instructions on how to use it in the full owner's manual. (2) the part number is 68396560AB, according to my dealer, who had to order one for me since it didn't come with the vehicle like it was supposed to. (This is the $75 optional "soft top window storage bag".)

Thanks for the pic on the elastic straps! First time I've understood what they're for. But do you think rolling the window that way will harm the green plastic side retainers? They don't seem that flexible to me, but maybe I'm just too scared to try it ... Also, there's nothing in the owners manual about those straps or rolling up the rear window.
I Just searched that part number and its for a JL. looks very oddly shaped and ppl are not happy with it. not sure whats going on with the Gladiator storage bags. i just called my dealer and they gave me the part number and of course its wrong. its to the Mole storage bags LOL smh

I just got my gladiator last night with the soft top and storage bag, but I am confused with the diagram printings on the bag and hard, round ends. is it designed to be rolled once the window is in place? or is it really just a "sleeve" to keep the window from scratching?
can you post videos and pics and the darn part number please. nobody seems to have the part number.

I just called Dealer and they said ONLY HARD TOPS come with Storage Bags. they were not aware of the storage bags for soft tops SMH! They are convinced there is no such thing. so if ANYONE has a part number to share and PICTURES of this rumored mysterious Gladiator Soft Top Storage Bag - PICS/VIDS would be appreciated! ** CHEERS! **

@JTguy2020 the part number 68396560AB was posted on the previous page by @ScottV

Doesn't seem to be showing up anywhere online that I can find, but your dealer should be able to order it.

That picture is showing the straps securing the soft top down while open. No window there.

Tell your dealer to look at pages 117-119 of the latest version of the full owner's manual. There are drawings of it there, and it's clearly Gladiator-specific (quarter panel straps, etc.). Also, when I ordered mine from the dealer, that bag was an option ($75) on the Jeep web site that you can use to configure your Gladiator. I just checked and I don't see that option there any more. The plot thickens ...

As for the part number, someone said they found it was for a Wrangler cover. Where did you look that up? I can't find that number on the Internet anywhere, nor when I looked it up at the Mopar site, which makes me think it's a new part, etc., and therefore maybe correct. When I asked my dealer for the part number, and to get me one (since I paid for it when I got the truck), they assured me it was for a Gladiator. I believe them since the first 2 bags they tried to give me were for Wranglers, and I made very sure they know the difference.

I'll second someone else's request for photo evidence that this thing exists. Mainly so I can come steal it from you :)

After talking to the folks at Jeep customer care and asking why the soft top didn't come with a cover as the Owner's Manual implies, they had us buy one from the dealer and are sending us a refund (after we sent a copy of the receipt). Not sure all the details as my wife finagled this. She's much more patient and friendly than I am...they might have hung up on me :)
UPDATE: Looking through the mail after I returned from a lengthy work trip revealed a full refund from Jeep for the bag I purchased from the dealer.

I don't roll the window, I agree, it's too firm. I put the window behind my rear seats, with just the bottom flap bent over, so the seat does not pinch it when I put the seat back. I have a blanket I put over the window although I do not think it does much.

I use those straps just for the soft top. I use velcro on the side like I believe the manual shows. I can't remember where I saw it, but somewhere, it said those other straps snap just above where the window comes out. I felt around and found them on the inside, just above the headrest. I snapped the straps in, then I pulled the straps around trying to figure out where they go, and that is the only logical place they connect. The straps are very similar to the straps that I used to roll up the soft top on my old TJ, but those windows were not as firm as this rear window is. I would love if someone else had anything official from Jeep to see if how I am using those straps is correct.

I just called Mopar with the part number the dealer gave me and the guy I spoke to told me it’s a bag for model year 2020, which he says means it’s for the Gladiator. Of course, it will be interesting to see what my dealer gives me when it comes in (hopefully before I die), probably will try to give me a garbage bag with “Jeep” written in it in sharpie.

JTguy2020, where did you look up the part number and find it was for a Wrangler?

Anyway, I’ll keep everyone posted.

the only part number i got was from the dealer and they gave me the wrong part number. it was for the rubicon Molle storage bags that attach to the back of the Rubicon seats. as the title description said STORAGE BAG JT >>>>>>> SMH!

So at this point there are no such soft top storage bags in existence!
