I saw that as well. The guy said he had it painted. When I saw the picture I got all sorts of excited....for nothing.

Was excited to see them starting to come out till I read the guy had it painted Corvette Blue.

Hydro Blue Pearl was a standard color on the Wrangler in 2014,15 and maybe even 16. Find a used one at a local lot! That's what I did, then I saw them all over!!!!

It does appear VERY similar to Hydro Blue pearl coat though. Anyone know what lift & tire size he's running? That's very similar to how I want my finished Gladiator to look.

Edit: I actually don't want to go over 37s and the 2" Mopar lift. That lift looks more like 4.5" with 40" tires.

I saw this online. Is this Hydro Blue or a custom paint?

That's pretty darn close to Hydro Blue. I'd have a hard time dropping the kind of money it costs for good custom paint just to get a color that will basically be available from the factory in a few months. But hey, I don't have an unlimited budget for a Jeep.

It is definitely sitting on 40's. I can read it on the sidewall. I think 4.5" of lift is a good estimate.

Agreed, but considering the first punk'in came off the line a few days ago, we may be waiting for a while.
Even just to open ordering though? I understand that it could be a bit to start production, but at least take some orders to give us hope! I wonder how the trucks get painted all the different colors. Different lines and booths I would think. Or different days? I don't know, but curious how that works.

Surely different lines and booths. There's a lot to change out to do different colors. Lines, nozzles, ect. They wouldn't switch them back and forth. Not cost efficient.

I went from a lifted JK to driving a Renegade to waiting for my Gladiator. It is HARD for me to be patient. So...hoping I have my truck by Christmas? LOL.

This wait is getting painful. At first I thought waiting till August 5th would be bad when they first leaked the schedule but this extra 2 weeks is making it even worse. At this point will we even see Hydro Blue before the holidays... ugh!!!
