Jeep says Hydro Blue and Gobi will be released "in a month" and no reason given.

I was also told not to reveal the source of the information, but I am believing it 100%.

Hopefully this really means within a month...

THAT is a crap thing for Jeep to ask of someone. There's no reason they shouldn't be sharing updated information other than to get people to buy stuff sitting on the lots. They are also losing sales because people are tired of waiting and going off to buy other brands altogether.

I agree 100%. We are literally one month overdue with no explanation. I was on the fence about a Tacoma for quite a while, but I think I’m hard headed enough to wait for the blue. Not by much though...

I do understand your frustration. The most recent update we have received is that the colors tentative launch date is late September and the matching hard top available in October. Our team has not been given any additional information regarding this, but I hope this provides some clarity.

I ran into my Jeep contact Thursday who asked me if I ordered a Gladiator yet. I let him know that Hydro still wasn't available despite having a projected manufacture date of Aug 5th. I said there was speculation it wouldn't be available until late October or even early 2021.

He said, hold on, I'll call the Toledo plant. He called a head guy in Toledo and asked when Hydro would be available. The guy in Toledo said, Hydro is available now on the Gladiator...just not body colored top. If the plant is ready to produce them, I don't know why dealers are saying you can't yet order them.

Just speculating here but I don’t think the factory has the ability to open the order banks. Every dealer we’ve each been in contact with says they aren’t available to order yet. FCA has to flip that preverbal switch so they can start doing so.

But your contacts statement does strike me as good news that orders will open very soon.
