Edit: So I bought these tires in June 2020 and still have them. They are very nice looking and handle well. I got a great deal for them from CarID.com for 186.43/ea.

Check out these tires. They are 35x10.50x17 and D rated for $201 ea but they weigh 67lbs which is about 20lbs heavier than the stock Sport S tire that I had. Here's a thread about them from the Jeep Wrangler forums https://www.wranglerforum.com/f274/kendas-new-kr601-r-t-in-35x10-5r17-280-80r17-is-out-2351343.html

Yes I have been running them for a few months. Put on over 5k miles with one rotation. Great tires. Very quiet, look awesome, excellent price and are wearing well. I purchased because I wanted a 35 and didn’t want the tire sticking out past the fenders. I replaced BFG AT’s. They honestly seem to work just a well.
Get them if you haven’t yet!!

I'm tempted. 67lbs is pretty hefty for a tire. Stock Sport I think is 39lbs. I've had a 35x12.50 on a past Wrangler that was 60lb. I'm thinking about it.

Prices fluctuate on those pretty regularly. Wait until walmart or amazon drop them back down in the $160 range.

installed mine today on 17x8 steelies. On Max tow with leveling kit. Drove super, no highway noise but they weight is noticeable...especially with the steel wheels. Going full retro on this truck.

Been looking for same wheels. Where did you find yours and backspacing.

Thanks.

Where did you get your rims from. What backspacing are they. Those are the rims I'm searching for.
Those are wheel vintaqes jw smoothie. Got them from Summit racing. Hold your breath on the price...they must be made out of smelted moon rocks, but it was the look I wanted. Saved big dollars on the tires which helped even it out.

They look great without the baby moons too. You will need regular lug nuts (with open end) The factory lug nuts will bottom before torque

17x8 5" backspace

Your Jeep looks sweet with those. Nice job. Reminds me of my old Willy's wheels.
