I have a scratch on my door. Brand new! 100 miles on the car. Should I bring it to the dealer or try and do it myself? Is the touch up paint a spray? I just don’t want to mess it up even more since it’s so new. I’m sure the dealer will charge an arm and a leg, but I’m sure it’ll look right. Opinions? Thanks!

It all depends on your buffing skills and or color of your paint. Darker colors I think are a bit harder to do. Also do you see exposed metal or is it just a scratch? My paint was severely messed up when I purchased painter protection through the dealership when I bought it. It was a detailing company which the dealership subsequently fired after this incident. I paid for a ceramic coating and the dealership paid for the paint correction to my Jeep. You could either do it yourself and buff it out, or look into a auto detailer that could easily buff it out for you locally as well. YouTube is your friend to DIY it.

That looks STUNNING! I do full PPF on most of my cars, but I feel like the Gladiator is too big to fully PPF, so Ceramic it is w/ correction!

I just made sure I read reviews on how well they did their paint correction. I think that made the big difference. Considering that the company that used to do all the work for this dealership was supposed to be able to buff and polish as a professional shop...well you can see how they messed it up lol.My dealership was great like mentioned and took care of paying for making it right.
