I always connect my phone with USB so I can use Android auto. Ill keep it disconnected today and see if that makes a difference.
May want to see if there is a setting in the menu for the volume level of Bluetooth or Android Auto for notification volume. I haven’t looked for it because I just caught it when it was talking and hit the up volume button.

So I have been tinkering and if I don't plug my phone in I have no issues. Whatever then I can live with that i suppose.

I get this regularly when my phone is connected with a USB cable. The Ring app causes it a lot. It sends the notification through the speakers, but it is not loud enough to hear. The output level of the Ring app is not as high as text messages. Ring isn't integrated with Android Auto, so no notifications on screen, just periodic cutouts in the radio volume.

Good to know its nothing serious. Now I just need to figure out how to read my text on the screen when I'm connected to android auto. I have to use my phone still...
