I removed my damaged rear bumper from a hit and run last month and put on a magnum bumper. I couldn't get a drop off date with my auto body guy for 3 weeks so i figured I'd just put this on now ( even though they will take it off again ) since I can't open my tailgate from the damage to transport it. I'm kinda confused on the license plate light bracket as its no plug and play..I also noticed when mounting the magnum bumper that the class 3 hitch receiver was slightly bent from the impact of the accident. I couldn't get the the bottom bolt on passenger side totally flush like the rest because of the bend. I'm gonna definitely tell the autobody guy cus that wasn't added to my estimate.

is this still available
Today I installed some SpiderTrax 1.75 spacers. Had some rub at full lock with the 35's on the stock wheels with no lift. This is just a band aid until I lift it next spring, add aftermarket wheels, and 37's.

As a photographer I could not pass this post with out stating that these photos are way over processed. I tried to just let it go but the 3 margaritas and my photo mind would not let me.:LOL::camera::punch:

I hope your bandaid works out for you till spring. What lift are you looking at?

Synergy is the way I'm leaning now, or maybe EVO. Thinking King shocks for the nice months, probably some Rancho or Fox for the winter. The stuff they put on the roads here in the winter is brutal can't see trashing the Kings.

The photos are the "cartoon" editing or whatever you call it on my phone.

I never thought of putting on winter shocks. I guess that may make since. How long would it take to change out winter VS summer suspension parts? What would you be swapping out per season?

I'll just swap shocks they are pretty easy to swap. I've never had shock failure from salt/calcium I just wouldn't want the Kings to get trashed and look like hell is all. Mud and grime washes off salt/calcium tends to pit and scar certain metals.

Mounted a set of Warn trail doors this weekend as well. The Mrs. feel much more comfortable with the trail doors on vs doorless. I really do like these doors:

https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/half-doors/103102-warn-elite-tube-doors-pair-rear

I also installed a set of Carolina Metal Masters trail mirrors:

These mirrors will keep me “legal” when I am completely doorless. I also have a set of 03-06 textured Wrangler mirrors on the way that fit up direct to the Warn trail doors. We’ll see how they work when they get here.

I didnt go quite that big but i did replace my steering stabilizer with the Fox TS and added the synergy sector shaft and tie rod brace. That took care of it completely. I have not taken it to the dealership to get the new steering box yet and at 28,000 miles im running out of time.
