I’m not sure what I might have done to my Gladiator today. I was installing a Bulletpoint accessory rail and one of the screws escaped down the right side defrost vent and immediately boarded the Orient Express on its way toward China.

Am I in trouble? Is there a chance it will cause problems, or are even odds that it will find itself a corner to homestead in and remain there harmlessly until the end of time?

On a related note, does anyone have the specs for the screws used on the Bulletpoint so I can make a trip to the hardware store to find a rrplacement?
Just pull the first screw out that you put in and measure it. Hell with that second screw, move on.

I could do that. Or just eyeball it. :)

[EDIT]… or find the little baggie with the two extra screws that came with the rail - and done![/EDIT]

Drive around with the magnet down the defroster vent, it may slide right onto the magnet. Maybe for a couple days/trips.

I like the flaps, looks like you ran over some construction safety cones on the roadway. ;)

My wife did that once. And kept going. :CWL:
In 2005 my wife drove a brand new Jeep Liberty Renegade (when "Renegade" was still a package, not an entire vehicle). She loved that Jeep, rode it until 2023, error free.

One day on her way home from work she calls me and says the front passenger tire is making a thumping noise. I ask if her TPMS is saying anything. She says no. She says she is in the neighborhood, to meet her in the driveway.

I meet her and look at the tire. Sticking out of her tire was a 3/8" socket wrench with a 3" extension. I couldn't help but laugh. I pull the spare off the back and take the tire/wrench combo to the shop. I tell the guy, "My wife thinks she ran over something. The tire is in the back.". He walks out, sees it and let's out a LOUD laugh. I ask, "Think you can patch it ?" and smile. Put on a new tire, went home. Still have that socket wrench to this day.

Yesterday, I finally installed my trailer hitch. I bought the Quadratec hitch a few months ago but didn't take the time until now. I was putting the hitch on when I realized I didn't have a 12mm hex driver. I had to put the bumper back on, run to Harbor Freight to get a driver, and then take the bumper back off so I could torque it properly.

Today I installed some flush mount tail lights from Infinite Offroad. I can't find them on their site anymore so they must be an old model. They were super easy to install and look good. I hope they last a while.

Haven’t done it yet, but picked up the freshly painted rocket armor from the body shop. These will go on under the new rock sliders when they get finished. I think they turned out well.
