I know there are other threads on this, but I am curious for those that have had the multiple check engine lights going off (often due to misfire codes) has anyone had Jeep replace the engine and did the problem go away? My JT was delivered in Nov. 2019, had the CEL go off on day 2, then about every month it goes off. We are on the 9th trip to the dealership now. They have replaced evac solenoids, found a leak here or there, and replaced the left cylinder head. In total, it has been out of service over 25 days. Next step they may want to do is engine replace, which I have seen take months base on parts. This JT should meet my state's lemon laws for buy back, as well, so weighing options..

Anyone had an engine replacement and, if so, did it work. Any help would be appreciated.

I had my engine replaced at about 4500 miles for a ticking noise around 2000 rpm.no cel or any other problems.it took over a month to get it back.2 weeks new motor came in, a week waiting for the mechanic was out waiting on covid test result.then 10 days waiting for a special tool to lift motor out.let the dealership manager know i was in the lemon law zone and he had the tool overnight shipped and got my Jeep back 3 days after that.

What is the MDH# and year? It's on the driver door pillar. There is a silver sticker it along with a lot of info is on it, at the top will be month-year, but the MDH#(month/day/hour) is further down.

I asked FCA to repurchase my 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, which they agreed to do after I met Florida’s Lemon Law requirements for recurrent CEL lights caused by misfires. I purchased a new 2021 Gladiator which has run flawlessly for 4,000 miles and counting.
