Flat rate.
If FCA says it takes 1.0 hours, that's what they get paid even if it takes 1.4 hours or there's some other issue causing problems with the work.

If you can beat flat rate time, you make money. If not, you lose money. The factory isn't really generous, they probably had people like me when I was 18 figuring the time for them LOL.
Reality can be different.

Yup, they lose money, so, usually warranty work is on the back burner... They'll get to it... But in sloth pace. This also leads to warranty repairs not being done correctly the first time because of the time crunch. Misdiagnosed, not put back together correctly or they break more things trying to fix it in the given amount of time.

Got the truck back today.... They replaced the HP EGR valve, EGR tube, and 4 orings. So far it seems to be driving normal. Shall see if it was the actual problem...

If so, my guess is the valve and tube were pretty dirty
