I just received these codes after fueling up
C121C-00 Torque Request Signal Denied
U0074-00 DEDICATED POWERTRAIN (D-PT) CAN BUS OFF
C16CF-15
B16D3-15 Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor
U140E-00 Implausible Vehicle Configuration Data Received

I got the codes from tazor and googled them.. The only one I couldn't find solid answer on is C16CF-00

Not sure where to start looking... They all seem related (one is causing a chain reaction)

21 eco with 53k miles
No prior issues however, I was getting "service shifter" notification on and off. Did read about the wiring harness chafing on the exhaust and I tried to move the harness.

Also, I did swap axles recently from a rubicon about 300 miles ago.

TIA

Edit : just got back from autozone to scan codes

P04DA closed loop EGR control at limit - flow too high

P026C Fuel Injection Quantity "A" Lower Than Expected

C121C-00 Torque Request Signal Denied

Now I'm really confused... Tazer points towards ABS and scan tool points to EGR system

C
O2 sensor malfunctioning it measures upstream and downstream and controls fuel loop . If fuel loop is messed up then its a sensor

Welp, took her in just now. She'll be looked at first thing in the morning... Hopefully something easy and under warranty.

After I reconnected the batteries and cleared all codes... She drove normal for about 15 minutes before idiot lights showed up again and returned to limp mode. Went back to the parts store to see what codes are reading... Still P04DA and C121C-00 but no P026C

Yeah, the batteries were charging at 14.2 yesterday, so there's that.
That doesn't mean anything by itself. One reading on one day isn't necessarily a problem. Heck, mine did that all day today, too - after sitting 2 days. No biggy.

Agreed, that's why I said Ina few posts I don't think it's a battery issue.

Not sure why the tazor was giving the codes it did and why the scan tool at autozone pulled different codes... But I'm taking what the scan tool said

I didn't read the whole thread, but - diesel - that harness connector issue?
Or - that green CANbus connector behind the glove box.
Just tossing stuff into the wind.

Yeah, I did see chafing on the Trans harness juay above the Def exhaust pipe

I checked all star connections and they seemed fine but the actual star connection terminal may have took a nose dive.

Either way, she's at the dealership... Fingers crossed they fix it right and extended warranty pays for it

It goes without saying - and I'm sure you will (but will say it anyway LOL) - keep us posted ;)

Definitely will lol I despise when I start reading a thread about the exact issue I had/have and they leave me hanging!

Also hate when I'm loking for long term review on something and even though they say they will keep us updated... Ghosted

I just had a similar issue...not the same codes but multiple codes, multiple dash lights and messages. With mine, power steering would go on and off, shifter would be disconnected and more. It started happening every day. I could shut the engine off and everything was fine on a restart, though the check engine light would periodically stay on. I checked all the grounds I could find, made sure all the Can Bus connections were secure, etc. I would periodically clear the codes with a BlueDriver scanner. I bought the green Can Bus and was going to replace it myself, but decided to take it into a dealer instead last week. They replaced the Can Bus and everything has been fine since then. The mechanic said he has replaced "probably 20" of the green Can Bus connectors in multiple code cases, and he has never had a single one come back. He also said that, on a few vehicles, he has seen a frayed wire to the Sway Bar disconnect cause multiple code issues.

Well glad yours was an easy fix! Maybe I'll carry a spare one around just in case

However with my truck... A scan tool only returned P04DA, P026C and C121C-00 the first time and the second time P04DA and C121C-00... However the tazer turned about 5 codes. So idk which to belive lol

Green star connector behind glove box will look normal. It's the solder inside that fails. Replaced mine months ago, and no problems since. @Hootbro had a good video on it that made it make sense.

Looks like fuel pump. I’m no expert, but less quantity of fluke expected by injectors. And everything else would happen as a result.

I've seen people simply unplug the connectors, apply dielectric, and plug them back in, too....... apparently, they aren't always properly seated.

I had a bunch of codes, related to CANbus communication, shifter issues and so on, on mine.
While it was in for the one out of 500,000 hot start misfire issue, I told the dealer to check out the codes as well.
I went to pick up the truck, looked over the work order and saw nothing about the codes or anything OTHER than the CCDIFF relearn to resolve the misfire.
I asked and the service advisor said the tech told him it was taken care of.
(why not have it on the work order????)
I realized the things I had sitting on the passenger seat were moved to a different location and when I opened the glove box, things were in there, but in a very different order from what I had things (to keep one of the taller items out of the latch)
Clues said - they had been on the passenger seat, and, they had the glove box clear out.
No need - unless they were accessing those connectors.
That JT never had so much as a blip of any sort after that. Never a MIL, no codes, nothing.
Whatever they did totally resolved the issues. (apparently without parts as they had to list parts on the WO to get reimbursed for warranty, and, for their time)

Hootbro not included, I wonder how many have seen how such assemblies are made - and soldered.
Where I worked, it was extremely low volume, so everything was done by human, one at a time, assemblies run through a dishwasher (literally), and then inspected under a magnifier, but stuff at volume - no human soldering in most cases.

So many people freak out when the alternator shows 14 and then 12. It’s not an indicator of a problem. At all. Which you clearly know.

Just an update

Dealership has the truck still and waiting for the HP EGR valve which is supposed to arrive by Friday. Kinda frustrated but not surprised it took them a week to look at it eventhough I made a an appointment for it to be diagnosed...I mean who likes warranty work right??

Real questions is if they ran the code, P04DA, and just ordered the EGR valve... Or did they test, inspect and dig deeper. I work with Order and pray type mechanics and let me tell you, it's a wasted of time and money
