$45k/year each? Not bad for making videos, but not as much as I'd thought to have the pressure of continuously needing to pump out new content. Thanks but no thanks.
I mean it's more like $90k together because shared expenses greatly reduce costs and that's a shit-ton of money for two people with no rent.

Oh, I'm not saying that it isn't a decent living. I just think the idea of being a YT personality like them sounds more glamorous than it likely is. For a household income of $90k/yr, it wouldn't be worth it to *me*. I wouldn't want that level of pressure to come up with content that keeps the click stats high enough to maintain that level of income.

I also doubt any content I could provide would be as popular; I don't think anyone wants to see me in a bikini. :blush:
