Anybody running these size tires??? Even 34x10.5???? Been looking for some taller tires but wanna keep my stock LE wheels 17x7.5 (and yesssss I know you can physically mount 35x12.5x17 on them without issue)...really looking to go taller, but not wider, and noticed quite a few companies have been offering options....anyways, whatdya got? Pics???
Thanks in advance ———E

I also would like to stay skinnier. I think my next set of tires will be Toyo AT III in 35x11.5. There's not a ton of options for tall skinny tires but I think that size is a good trade off.

little shorter than you're looking for, but I'm running 255/80-17's (33.1" x 10") and front leveling kit installed

That’s just an overall nice looking rig! Good job!

Yeah so theirs some metric styles that also come in the range (specifically 275/80R17 = ~34.5x10.8). Not that I have any issue with the “classic” 35x12.5 (or 315/70R17) as I have ran them on both my TJ and my JKUR.

But for some reason on the trucks (at least from an aesthetic reason) I like the tires tucked under the fenders a bit more, unlike the 12.5” wide tires with 4.25 back spaced after market wheels on my wrangler, which had the tires hanging outside the fenders a couple inches, I wanna keep my 17x7.5 LE wheels, still want the height, don’t want any rubbing (not that their would be), and don’t want that much extending past the fenders...idk, would like to see a few tho too before the purchase....

Here is a little comparison stock
vs TOYO A/T III 285/75/17 (33.9” tall) My sport has Rubicon front springs and 3/4” spacer. Perfect in my opinion.

Nice!! Definitely close to the size I was looking at 275/80, (34.3x10.8)...do you feel there would’ve been a rub without the spacers? How far do the tires hang outside with the spacers?

Tried to buy the Toyo ATIII In 35x11.50r17 a couple of months ago and they were on indefinite back order. Ended up with 285/75r17’s.

I have a set of Toyo AT 3s 286/75/17 on stock sport S wheels, they fit without any lift on my stock max tow, pretty much flush with the edge of the fender. Toyo has that size in both load range E and C, I bought the C ones. They look really good massive deep tread, this is my 3rd set of Toyo ATs. I have run 315s on other Jeeps, I prefer the 285 width for tracking rain and snow.

Yeah I was looking at 80 series too but could not find one that wasn’t a E rated tire. Had bad experiences with that stiff of a tire on a lightweight jeep, 10lbs of air in my brothers E rated tires on his JK and the tires barely squat.
So I went with the C rated 285/75/17 TOYOs and it performs nice off road.
No rubbing off road with sway-bars connected and Rubicon coils on top of 3/4” coil spacers. (Haven’t tried with sways disconnected yet) Wheels are 10+ offset. So about a inch more poke than stock.

Here are some shots of 285/75/r17 Ridge Grapplers on the Base steel rims. They're a bit wider than I wanted, coming right to the edge of the fender but definitely livable...

And they look a little snug on the stock suspension (though they still clear the fender at full stuff)...

But they look much better with the Rubicon springs and a leveling kit..

So I’m thinking about going with the GY Wrangler MT/R (275/80R17) ....without a doubt on the high price end (compared to many others) but I ran the 315/70R17s on my TJ, and they were soooo much fun....(And the 275s will save me $200+ on a set over the 315s)
