**2020 Holiday Beach Run**

Jeep Gladiator **FLORIDA 2020 HOLIDAY BEACH RUN** 1F9F972B-912E-4670-990C-C4F765E7461D

Who: ANYONE!

What: This year since we couldn’t do a trail run OR a beach run at Jeep Beach we’ve decided to do our own Beach Run (Family & dog friendly)!

When: Wednesday, December 30th @ 1200

Where: We will meet at the “staging area” St Augustine Pier parking lot @ 1200 and proceed to Alpha St where we will all enter the beach access. We will drive about halfway down, stop, chill for a bit and make our way down to the off ramp by Fort Matanzas National Monument. After that we can then head back up and grab some chow at Salt Life.

Staging Area Address:

350 A1A Beach Blvd, St Augustine, FL 32080

Alpha Street Beach Access Address:

A St, A1A Beach Blvd, St Augustine, FL 32080

Salt Life Address (located across the street from our staging area):

321 A1A Beach Blvd, St Augustine, FL 32080

-Will update this post if any changes are necessary

**Please DO NOT QUOTE post so that people do not get confused if changes are made. Thank you!

***There are no fees, passes or inspections to enter the beach via vehicle access. The only requirement is your vehicle must be equipped with 4wd.

Liking the day setup. Should make for a fun day. Gonna be a lot of ?
Absolutely! It’s always a great time putting faces to names and seeing each other’s setups and hearing one another’s plans in person. Brings a different level to the forum.

I only bought my jeep a few months ago, I haven't figured out air down and up. Will we be in loose sand, or is this like the area in Daytona where you can take a 2wd car down the path?

When I lived in Japan, we used to run up and down the beaches and ford the rivers in our Nissan. We never aired down or up and I didn't have any problems.

Just need to figure out if I need to quickly figure this out, or if I will be ok without a solution in place.

Thanks

It is nothing like the hard pack sand at Daytona. But you’ll be fine just put it in 4h and you’ll be fine. No need to air down if you don’t want too. The sign there actually tell you to engage in 4wd before entering haha

No need to air down.

Worst case...I am sure you will find one or two or twelve folks to pull you out =P

Slight chance of rain in the AM which should help with the sugar sand softness but all is still good! Looking forward to it!!

I have a single arb compressor on board. Wish I went twin for my 37s. Also a 4 way inflate/deflate setup. I can help 1 or 2 air up, but that might be max. Also winch N traction boards, so I got u lol
