More info on those wheels please. I have been looking for set of Steelie wheels that have that amount of offset but haven’t been able to find anything like it. Where did you purchase them from and what are the specs. Post up some more pictures of this rig

They are from Wheel Vintiques. https://www.wheelvintiques.com/jw-series-jeep-smoothie.html

Mine are 17x9 with a custom 4.25" backspace. They had to "reverse" the wheel in order to do that backspace. That gives it a cool deep dish look. They fit snug. Couldn't even stack wheel weights for balancing - had to use hammer ons.

I fricking love this look. I wanted to do this same thing but was looking at the Detroit Steel Wheels but my significant other was having a fit over my decision.
Are these wheels really heavy? I have read that the weight is the only negative of going with the steelies.
Excellent job man, you nailed it!

Thanks! Yes, the wheels are heavy. Close to 40 lbs each. I am having 5.13 gears installed next week. I'm also beefing up the axles with trusses, gussets, RCVs, and chromoly shafts. I want to be sure they can handle the weight of the tires and wheels even on hard trails.

You also don't have as much cooling for the brakes but I do have a negative offset that should provide some more air back there. I don't see that as being a problem.
