I installed the roof rack acouple weeks ago. Finally had some good weather to get the awning mounted and take some pictures.
I had a JL Sport which I traded for the Gladiator. I had an an awning mounted to Mopar crossbars clamped to the gutters on the JL hardtop. That wouldn't really work on the short gutters on the JT. The JCR rack looked like the best option for me. I also bought the black hardware pack and awning brackets. Also, if it gives me any problems, I can pull it off.
Assembly and install was very easy. As usual with everything you get now days there was no instructions. I just watched their video.
I'm really happy with it. It makes no noise and dosen't leak.
I had to make my own awning brackets. @JcrOffroad whats up with the awning brackets? They are not wide enough to clear the mounting brackets on the rack.
