Hey all! I've been driving an 06 camry for eons and finally sold it so I could build/buy a Gladiator! I've never had anything other than stock wheels and basic tires when they needed to be replaced. As a result I'm very very green with aftermarket parts and I want to make sure these will actually work together with my Sport S before shelling out 2k+ for tires and wheels. Tires and Wheels.

I won't have a lift on the truck so it'll be stock height if that matters. Thanks for any help you guys can provide, I'm super excited for my Jeep to be delivered!

You don't need to buy from these guys but you can get a good idead of what wheel and what tire will fit.

And just by coincidence there are two Gladiators with the same wheel as the one you were looking at. Unfortunately both have modified suspension, so tread lightly.

I guess my question is more will those tires work with those wheels and if yes then together will they work with the Sport S with no other mods? I'm a novice at all of this and I'm trying to learn and get a grasp on this stuff.

17 x 9.5 Wheel

285/70R17/E121/118R Tire

That tire will fit on that wheel.

As for that wheel and tire combination fitting on your Gladiator with a stock suspension. They might fit. Cross reference that tire dimension with "285/70R17/E121/118R" with that wheel dimension 17x9.5 -18 Offset with similar Gladiators on that website I referred to.

I'm sure this was a really dumb and basic question but I sincerely appreciate your answer!

Now I believe the default size is 35" and these are 33". Visually is that 2" noticeable? Not trying to have a lowrider of a jeep

For the most part 35" tires will fit with no suspension modifications. The deal breaker is the wheel.

The tires will fit a stock Gladiator. I have had 285/75/17 from the day I drove off the lot which is slightly taller than the 285/70/17. The below site is a good one I use to see the difference in tires.

Ok this thread title keeps catching my eye because every time I see it my brain reads 'non-stick tires' and I do a double-take.

Now if I have be helpful (lol) here's my 2c:

Rubicon stock is 33"; Sport S is 31.5", IIRC. So going to 33" for you should increase your ride height a little bit and would more than likely fit just fine. Also - my opinion, not that you asked for it, is that stock wheels don't get enough love. Unless you've got the bright silver ones (barf), my suggestion is to keep them for at least a little bit and see if you don't end up wanting to spend $$ elsewhere instead.

Totally agree with you. If you got the Black Steelies no need to by wheels. The Silver alloys on the other hand are just YUCK!!!
