My best buddy, Kaiser, who was always by my side, ate something bad and I had to have him put to sleep on 05/17/21. He loved riding in the three Jeeps I have owned. Actually, they were his! He just let me drive them. Damn I hurt bad! Loved him very much and he was family to me.

I'm sorry for your loss, I lost my 14 year old Lab to cancer a couple of years back, You do feel like you lost a family member because they are family. I have other dogs now but I still miss her.

Clay, I’m sorry for your loss. I agree it is brutal when you invest so much emotional capital in them. We are better off having that special bond than not. Truly are gifts from God. I’m still kinda raw from it. I’ll get another but not yet. Best wishes.
