  1. Stealth overland

So I’ve got the typical overland set up with rack and RTT however I like to try out different ideas. I keep coming across the softopper soft shell and saw they also offer a tent attachment for it to extend the back long enough to extend out to the end of the tailgate when down and give tall...
  2. Softopper/rtt camping

I've been looking at this route more and more, how easy/hard is it to attach the add-on tent? Also do you have any more details on your bed storage set up, I saw a brief picture in another thread but I'm really curious to see more of it. Thanks!
  3. Show me your furry Co-Pilots.

Sorry for your loss... The dude has taken over trail copilot duties after our Husky-Akita passed last June.

  5. Looking for a Front Bumper with specific needs.

are you talking about re-using the factory skid? If so I wouldn’t if it’s the plastic one, however I do have a stock steel skid from a rubicon and after looking at it I think with some minor cutting it could be used with the Rugged Ridge bumper.
  6. Tuffy Front Flip Plate

I've had mine tilted with no issues from local police so realistically you could run a Prolink and have it angled without being harassed. Then again I've seen the police here not bat an eye with guys running their license plates on the down angle of skid plates, so there is that...
  7. Tuffy Front Flip Plate

I currently have one on my set up right now, It's good if you're using a traditional hook or the the flatlink from Factor 55, will not work with the Prolink unless you leave it out. Install was super easy as it goes on at the same time as the fairlead, adjust the side nuts for desired tightness.
  8. Geetch’s build of IRIS

Interesting, where did you pick up the carpet replacement?
  9. Flush Mount Tail Lights

@ORACLElights any chance we can get a video of these in operation? Preferably both a day and night one? So far these are looking pretty dope!
  10. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Got my Jeep back yesterday afternoon, so far there’s a slightly firmer feel in the steering and I’m not having to pull to the right like I was before. Worth getting the TSB done.
  11. New JT Gladiator Steering Issue TSB 08-074-20 (for "Improved Steering Feel")

Local dealership should be getting my parts in today and hopefully have me in tomorrow for the update. We'll see how this goes...
  12. Adams 1310 front driveshaft

Both Adams and JE Reel use greasable u-joints at the axle, so there is a zerk on each of them, ask me how I know this...
  13. Invictus Off Road Build

Front drive shaft is easy J.E. Reel or Adams, unless you're running 40"+ tires the 1310 will be sufficient. If I remember correctly J.E. Reel supplies Adams with the raw components so there is that too.
  14. Rear Seat Delete

I still wanted some functionality from the 60%, I came up with this. Full write up in my build thread.
  15. Thinking of Quick Discos

I have the Teraflex set on mine with a 1.5" leveling kit. They sit slightly high but nothing that's compromised my ride comfort. They do need to be greased which I know a lot of people forego doing and normally leads to the biggest complaint that the bushings go. 2+2=4, just saying... Overall...
  16. Lemon Law

My parents wound up using the Lemon Law here in Texas several years ago on a Grand Cherokee they had issues with. In their case it was sent to an arbitrator who then reviewed the case and ruled in favor of a full buy back by the dealer. Make sure to have everything documented as the "they told...
  17. Topless/doorless harm?

Let me know, I'm a 45 minute drive from Dona Ana and frequently lead trail runs out there.
  18. Basic Essentials

Toilet paper... can't say how important it is to have toilet paper just in case.
  19. Cargo Management Options

I second the go check out the what did you do to your Gladiator thread, it's good source of things that work and don't work. Also, what kind of cargo management is she looking at? Minor thing likes JCR panels inside the cab along with the stuff that @Invictus Off Road are great solutions that...
