Don't know if you've made your tire decision as of yet but I'd highly recommend the Procomp MTs. I've had them on two of my rigs I've also had other popular big name MTs and the Procomps were on top for quietness and overall wear and tear. You will NOT regret going with that choice!

I have run those and your right they are an excellent choice. We went with Patagonia's 37's for 2020. I have a a set of 40's toyo's that are brand new and have been sitting for the last 2 years so we might go to those next!

Whats everyone's thought on the frame chop bumper from Motobilt? I really like the idea but I am struggling with cutting of the front of the Gladiator.

I love the frame chopped bumpers, I think they look fantastic.

That being said, I ain't doin it! lol
I'll wait until the Jeep ages a bit before I start hacking away at it.

Right! I am such on the fence. I am pretty sure I can sleeve the ID of the frame and re-weld/plate it.......but it will never be the same

Because of the amount of coverage?
Because I doubt it would protect my Jeep and occupants as well in an accident.

I’m all for creating more clearance and making a rig perform better off-road, but I still drive mine on the road (especially as I drive my Jeep to the trailhead). I want to survive if an idiot runs a light or makes a left turn in front of me.

Thats a great point! This is a family rig that will be driving to a bunch of events this summer so we need to keep this in mind!

I ran a Crawler Conceptz stubby bumper on my '12 for some time. It was a frame chop style bumper and honestly I felt safer running it than a typical frame mount style bumper primarily because it replaced the flimsy front cross member with an extremely stout solid one piece bumper that tied into the frame much better. My '12 was my daily driver and with the typical local traffic (read a lot of uninsured motorists) having that piece of mind is something big.

Your choice of front bumpers should reflect your direction with your Jeep whether it be aesthetics, function, or a mixture of both. Research which ones you like and if it's through a smaller company like JCR, Artec, etc... call them for their input. Crawler Conceptz was awesome because it was the owner who I spoke with and went over all the advantages and disadvantages of running their bumper and eventually what sold me to get one.

The Invictus Off Road Rig is getting some upgrades in the next 2 weeks
Jeep Gladiator Invictus Off Road Build IMG_20210407_121741_194

  • Rancho 3.5 Lift
  • ARB 35 Spline Front Locker
  • Artec Front and rear Truss
  • RCV 35 Spline shafts
  • Spicer 5.13 Gears
  • Motobilt full belly skid

Still need to figure out some details. What did everyone do with the following?
  • Compressor and mounting
  • switches
  • Rear bumper
  • Front Drive Shaft?

Front drive shaft is easy J.E. Reel or Adams, unless you're running 40"+ tires the 1310 will be sufficient. If I remember correctly J.E. Reel supplies Adams with the raw components so there is that too.
